Q: How do Dura-Crete walls fasten together?
A: Our very unique patented fastening system is found in the interior of our walls, unlike some wall systems that are anchored on the exterior of the interior wall. Bolting and anchoring inside the actual wall adds tremendous strength, as steel runs through all of our fastening systems, where other wall systems use simple embeds. |
Q: How do you attach the floor system to a Dura-Crete wall?
A: Our wall system will accommodate any type of floor - wood, pre cast concrete floors, pour in place or post tension slabs. Ledger boards can be bolted using our innovative "inside the wall" fastening system. Attachments may vary with the specifics of each job. |
Q: How do trusses attach to our wall system?
A: Trusses attach to truss straps that are already cast into the wall, which is reinforced by the steel running through them. No extra top plates or wood needed. |
Q: How long does installation of the Dura-Crete System take?
A: For the average 2000 square foot building installation takes about 3 to 4 hours, without the mess of traditional block wall installation. |
Q: Do licensees of Dura-Crete do residential or commercial building projects?
A: All licensees of Dura-Crete Systems do both residential and commercial building. They have done whole sub-divisions, individual residences, multi-level condos as well as restaurant buildings... so whether you are an individual building a home, or a contractor building a high rise, contact the licensee in your area to see how easy it is to get your project started! |
