Dura-Crete Systems International, Inc. is led by its President & Founder Robert McClellan, who has 3 decades of experience in the building industry, and his wife Ingrid McClellan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In the early 1970's Mr. McClellan developed a very unique and innovative lightweight pre-cast concrete wall system. His goal was to create a builder friendly, hurricane resistant home which would be manufactured in a controlled plant environment then erected on builders job sites, saving builders time and labor problems. His unique system was far ahead of its time and was put on the back burner. In 1997 Bob McClellan became aware of the building industries search for alternative methods to block and wood frame construction. At that time he applied for and was granted a US patent on his wall system. He also founded Dura-Crete Systems International, Inc. in 1997. Mr. McClellan continues fulfilling his vision of establishing his pre-cast concrete wall system as the material of choice for the builders of residential and light commercial projects.
